Poetry & Jazz - The Romantics

WHAT: Poetry & Jazz – The Romantics
WHEN: Tuesday 11 June, 6pm
WHERE: Arkadia International Bookshop, Nervanderinkatu 11, Helsinki (Map)

Join us on Tuesday 11 June at 6 p.m. for an hour of poetry devoted to the Romantics.

Romanticism was a major artistic movement that began in the late 1700s and lasted until the mid-1800s. Many poems of this era exhibit profound emotion and a love of nature. Individualism, idealism and mysticism were also close to the Romantics' hearts.

This is your chance to hear not only the big six – Keats, Coleridge, Shelley, Wordsworth, Byron and Blake – but also some of the lesser known poets of the period.

See the full programme here: www.zoechandler.com/2013/05/15/the-romantics

NOTE - this Poetry & Jazz special runs for one night only!
