Welcome to our stage reading of The Food Chain by Nicky Silver!
If you didn't have an appetite before entering the theatre, you will by the time this play starts.
On the surface, The Food Chain might look like a bunch of self-centred narcissists living an overly privileged life. But really, at its very core, it's about sex, beauty and rocky road. We bring you comedy (or a tragedy masked as comedy) straight from Manhattan in the mid 90s. Expect neuroses to be developed, defined and subject to abject reinforcement.
This stage reading is directed by Elina Jackson.

“Silver pulls off a seamless meld of style and insight. And The Food Chain just might be the funniest play currently trouncing a New York stage.”
