Short n Snappy
Join us for an hour of comedy, tragedy and everything in between, delivered in four plays that, while being short, don’t lack bite. (We’ll be adding more information about the plays soon, so keep an eye on this space.)
We strongly recommend that you book in advance, as there are only two performances with limited seating and these events have previously sold out.
THE PLAYS
After All written & directed by Támara Aalto
A tragicomedy in which two worlds meet, and the similarities and differences between them are revealed. The most interesting people may not be the ones who've studied the most, but could be the ones who’ve had more experiences in their lives. Unfortunately, they’re sometimes the ones who are invisible to society.
Cast:
Woman – Pauliina Myllyntaus
Man – Leben Norrie
My Struggle written & directed by Vello Ruus
An autobiographical monologue about life’s struggles.

Bye Bye Brexit! written & directed by Ulf Persson
Oh, Brexit what shall we do with you? Leave won over Remain by 52–48 and – surprise, surprise – Brexit was here! In other words, as somebody cleverly put it, Pride and Prejudice defeated Sense and Sensibility. Thank you, Jane Austen! But if you don’t want to leave, then what can you do? As an ordinary citizen? As a top politician? We’ll show you.

Santa Innit? written & directed by Zoë Chandler
It’s early November, which naturally means that Christmas is in full swing. So here’s a traditional yuletide tale of surprising revelations, arguing, and heavy drinking. Oh – and presents! Although it seems that some people are more into taking than giving, which Joe finds out when he receives an unexpected visit from Santa and events take a bizarre and comic turn.
