INGRID by Ulf Persson
Directed by Anna Olkinuora & Ulf Persson
Ingrid is the Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman, who was for many years Hollywood’s darling and received thousands of fan letters every week. All that came to an abrupt end when she left Hollywood – and her little daughter – behind to marry the Italian film director Roberto Rossellini.
Ingrid takes place towards the end of her life, in her New York apartment. Ingrid has invited her daughter to dinner. She wants to explain – before it’s too late.
There will also be live music – bossanova and soft jazz – before and after the show. The band will start at 6 pm.
