The fourth Festival of English Language Theatre in Finland (FELT IF 2012) offers a total of nine short plays.
The Finn-Brit Players will be presenting The Bench, written and directed by Beth Morton. This light-hearted drama will hopefully make you smile, test your judgement, and reaffirm that appearances can sometimes be deceptive.
Several Finn-Brit Players stalwarts will also be appearing in Blood, Love & Rhetoric's NOT the Vagina Monologues, written and directed by Zoë Chandler. This all-woman show is not just for women: everyone – male, female or other – will hopefully enjoy this collection of sketches.
Thespians Anonymous Theatrical Society will be presenting five shows:
Witness God playing dice with the universe in three plays from the comedic collection All in the Timing by David Ives. Directed by Alicja Kocanda.
Bear With Me, written and directed by Pauliina Munukka, is the story of a Girl who is trying to become independent and find a way to deal with her emotions with the help of Bear who is... well, a bear.
Beer Girl by Walter Wykes is a comedy exploring issues of love, relationships, escapism and alcoholism. Directed by Richard Cohen.
Call of the Revolution by Leonid Andreyev (adapted by Walter Wykes) is a drama dedicated to all those who have the courage to stand up and speak out. Directed by Anastasia Diatlova.
A Long Time Ago by Floyd Dell is a fairy-tale play with an edge. Once upon a time, there was a kingdom with a bored queen and no heroes…. Directed by Pieter Ketelings.
