WHAT: Party - Hallowe'en / Guy Fawkes party

WHEN: Friday, 4th November, 7pm

Friday, 4th November we will be carving the pumpkin and burning the Guy as we celebrate both Halloween and Guy Fawkes at the same party. Dress as your favourite horror character or just join us for the gruesomely great evening.

Note: Actual burning may not take place.

This is a final reminder that RSVP AND payment must be received by the 8th September. If you have previously stated your interest or intention to attend but have not paid by the 8th, it will be assumed you are NOT attending.

Ever wanted to play Hamlet or Lady Bracknell? Then dust off your tights and handbag, as we're encouraging everyone to come dressed as their favourite character from the stage. N.B. Costumes are optional, so feel free to come dressed however you wish.

We'll be laying on a buffet – and you'll be putting on the entertainment. A short piece, a song, an extract from a play, a poem, a joke, a solo or an ensemble ... it's up to you, but a maximum of 5 minutes. 30 Years of Fun - an Invitation

We've made 'em laugh,
We've moved to tears,
We've given them a taste of fears,
Been doing this for 30 years...

Yes, 1981 saw a revived Helsinki drama club take to the boards and since then the Finn-Brit Players has mounted so many shows that we've lost track of many of the wonderful people who made it all happen. So as a former or current member we would love to see you at our 30th Anniversary Reunion, to be held in Helsinki on Saturday, 24th September 2011.

There are now hundreds of names on our cast list and we'd need Carnegie Hall to accommodate everyone. So please help us to find the appropriate venue by replying as soon as you can, whether you can or cannot come. A simple Yes or No is enough for now.

We estimate the price to be 20 - 25 euros per head.

We shall also be extracting something else from our guests - an optional performance. A short piece, a song, an extract from a play, a poem, a joke, a solo or an ensemble ... it's up to you but a maximum of 5 minutes.
